G5 Dpi
hi guys i just wanted to ask that i've been using 400dpi with 3 in-game sensitivity and default windows with 103 fov. i was doing pretty well with this setting until a friend of mine said he was using 1600dpi and started owning me. i want to know wat settings i should use to get better, either higher dpi or lower. g5 goes to 400dpi-2000dpi.
if possible can u guys recommend me some in-game settings also. like fov, sensitivity, and m_pitch

a lower dpi reduces negative acceleration, especially at smaller resolutions; 400 is pretty much perfect. this is the same for all games based on the quake 3 engine due to the input type.
oh and also windows sensitivity should always be at 6/11, something about it skipping pixels otherwise.
for fov; most skilled players don't use anything over 100 other than those who play rifle.
