X-fi Elite Pro - How to set up ?

Hey,
I have my x-fi for a long time, its good, but i think could give a better performance and precision.

Whats your Sound Card settings? and which console do you use?

Wow, so easy.

tan = sin/cos

Then multiply both sides by cos^2. nP

no, he meant i simply have to exchange the tangens part with sin/cos, because tan=sin/cos :)

Thats what i did.. also change the settings for 5.1 (medusa headphones). It seems not so good way... playin @ default settings @ so much expensive card

TBH, turn off all random shit, and don't feel bad about using an expensive card with default settings.
Sound is sound, and it's supposed to be as close to reality as possible, not as fancy as possible.
The card is expensive because it has a decent DAC (Digital to Analog converter) and thus good sound quality. It's probably a bit overpriced though, as they ship all this random shit with it.
