how to with vista

Hello, ive read many movie tutorials for ET on this site and others.

but none seems to give me the result i need.

Can anyone give me an UP TO DATE tutorial how to make an ET movie with vista.

Well te basic problem is to make a small filesize, becasue atm I have 100 MB for a 30 sec testclip with a few transition effects. no sound added atm.

Programs i have used:

ET pro + movie config at 1280*720 ( @ 250 avirec )
vdub
sony vegas 8 pro
megui + avisynth

my pc specs:

AMD 64 x2 dualcore 5000+
4gb ram @ 800mhz
8600 GT 256mb

hdd space in total 2 terra

make a partition, install XP and go to the tutorial section

naah thats not an option ...;

my second PC is xp but the specs are crap :

p4 2.8 ghz
2gb ram
ati x1600
500gb hdd

there has to be a solution for vista (if that is the prob )

i have the codecs

vista codec pack and also latest versions od x264 and xvid

1. format c
2. install windows xp
3. hf
4. repeat in case of problems

You are doing something wrong in megui if that's the result

Try my x264config at my profile

*EDIT* : make sure megui is close when you add the file into the x264 folder or it'll disappear :O

In megui it's named HQ-Fast :)

I just did a test clip with my config

same resolution , 30 fps , 21 seconds , 10 mb

Btw your final FPS is 25 right ?
