Best CRT

Looking for the names of, lets say, the top 5, CRT's. I think overdrive said something about sony etc and some specific names, would aprecciate them so I can try to find them on ebay or something :)

Also should be able to do 120hz @ r_mode 6 and have really really really really excellent colours and high pixel count.

Preferably 19-21" That's all that would fit .. :o on my desktop!

ppl mostly post this kind of stuff on local 2nd hand sites, such as marktplaats.nl (dutch).
Searching for a vision master pro 454 there gave me 7 results, all ranging around 50 euro's. I'm sure they have similar sites in germany.

it's not smooth with 125 fps afaik, but I had a 17" and palyed with 125/100 and it was smooth, maybe this monitor is just fucked :o

u can set r_swapinterval 1, then it will be smooth. my point was u dont see any difference between 100 and 125 fps.

125fps + 100Hz = terrible tearing
And swapinterval adds "input lag"

1) i mean 100 fps not 125. But if u have 125 fps in ur cfg and u set r_swapinterval 1, fps will be adapted to r_displayrefresh automatically: 100 hz => 100fps.

2) many players (like butchji or me) play wit 100 fps and 100hz. and i dont see any problems.

3) About which input lags a u speaking about?

Dunno, it's hard to explain. When you use swapinterval, the game feels "smoother", but at the same time, there's some kind of lag. I think it has something to do with interpolation (?) and this is how I experienced it: Whenever you move your mouse, there's some kind of delay. You can't really see it, but it's like your movements are registered a second after the things happening on the screen. Just compare it to stable 125FPS + 120Hz. With these settings it feels not quite as smooth, but it's much more responsive.

i know what u mean with delating of the mouse. It happenes only if u play fps < 100 -> u can feel this delation. but with 100 fps u dont have this problem, or atleast its very very small.

It does not do 120hz @ 1600x1200.
The hm903 dt-b version of the 454 pro handle a little higher refreshrates than the dt-a version of it but none of them can do 120hz @ 1600x1200.
