I get it after every single map, have to exit ET and restart it.

im guessing this is when ur trying to patch to 2.60b? i used to have this problem, u need to install ET, download ETStarter Pro, 2.60 and 2.6b, take the ET and ETDED from 2.6b and move them into ur ETStarter Pro folder, in this folder theres another folder called version data, then 2.6, put them in there, then patch up!
