low fps?

i'm having low fps problem with my dads pc, i'm sure i should get atleast 76 stable fps, but that's not what i'm getting. anytime i get into combat, my fps drops to ~35ish, when i'm not moving/when i'm in a room or just standing, i have ~60fps.

here's the pc:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (SP2)
DirectX: 4.09.00.0904 (directX 9.0c)
CPU: 1600mhz
Motherboard: Intel Lakeport -G i945G
RAM: 1015MB (DDR2-667)
3D Accelerator: Intel GMA 950 (128MB)

Any help is appriciated, thank you in advance

your PC is also not that good, I can get stable 150 FPS in CSS ....

i play with the same problem, but i know why i have low fps :P

1. you need good ram, but 1 gb is enough imo
2. is your graphics card onboard :o ? if it is, than you have to buy a new one...
3. play with lowest quality, than you can get more fps... i play with r mode 3 for example but normally i could play with 1024x ._.

No.
But after format c the pc is faster in general.
The graphic accelerator should work with et.
Its the cpu which has to do the work
