The CPU Cooler is silent, I do not care about how he looks, he has to cool, and has to be silent, thats all i want. I dont want another Jet in my room :|
2) Whats wrong with the PSU? :(
3) If you want a good water cooling you have to spent a lot of money, i dont like those starter kids, or "ready-to-use" systems, they are shit most likely
Take Corsair/Enermax instead.
Petra's has a great water cooling kit for a pretty good price (OOS right now though).
Edit: also I'm aware that they have an ugly site, they are reliable though.
no need for at the moment, i have so many spare hdds here, no need for new ones ;)

DDR2 vs. DDR3, read a lot about it, but since i dont really care about a few bucks more i take the ddr3 cause i want a system for the future. Or why you think i should take ddr2?
Google "i7 tlb bug" if you don't know what it is ;)
now gtfo old 775 socket, they suck and are old
Q5550 ==> i7 920 (you want something for future ...) and change mainboard
PSU ==> Corsair 550W
Depend a lot on your budget (=> i7 ?) and on your screen.
and no i think having an 700W is better for him
obviously if he bought the nforce then he is planning for an SLi setup, and im sure corsait 550W wont be enough to hold GTX 280 sLi :O
btw utility for a 280GTX SLI ? One card ok but SLI ...
For PSU it's more about brand than power, if he is planning for SLI so take Corsair 650W =D
well, an GTX 280 GX2 should be released close to january, it might cost around ~700$ so he / i might aswell grab this beast ^^ or 260GTX and l8er SLi for cheap once his PC is getting alil slow (crysis4? :F)
to be honest, i dont know if i really need an 260 SLi, but the sound of SLi and having 2 GPU is so sexy and makes me want to have such setup ><
Even a single HD4870 is faster (and ofc cheaper) than a 280GTX!
@stojN take a core 2 duo because noone can use the full power from a quad core, only u work much with editing photos or anything but a core 2 duo is enough.
e: ok fuck you have 3 280 gtx :o u prolly can afford any shit =/
fake rig
take core i7 920 with p6t deluxe and 260GTX SLi, IMO, will give you the best gaming experience
INTEL ONLY.
Also Intel's inf file updates often and it fits to any Intel chipset even is too old.
I used to have an nF4 chipset mobo, but I'm on Intel now, and I can agree with you ^^
ps: soundonboard SUCKS!
u want a cookie now?
