Aim/weird mouse feeling
Hey..
Ive startet playing ET again after a 6 months break.. But its like i forgot all about the game, Ive been on ctf_multi to track in my sense but when i find a good sense that seems good to track whit; its like when i get on a pub serv, I lock up or smth, I think i wrist aim in a battle. But on ctf_multi if use my whole arm or smth.. I tried to use a high sense but it feels to "wiggly" I can move around fine tho.. Ive been playing alot of reflex to.. But it seems like the more i play the more shitty i get..
I wouldn normally write in here to get help, But atm my acc is around 18-20% And u just cant play like that..
I think that my problem might be that i strafe/aim sux.. But how do i pratice that..? do i pratice alot or ctf_multi..
I have no problem corner camping and that shit.. But do i meet some one in and open field face to face.. Im lucky if i get 2 shots in.. Bodyshots that is..
Hope u guys have some kinda help..

And play more often to get used to the game.
edit: Do you really play with that one?
But thnx for the input.. Ill play and play and play :)
you can do this in a 1on1 valhalla maybe but hardly in a 3on3 / 6on6 tbh :D
you will be way to slow and block ppl like that ;o
I've been playing et for quite some years but I'm still not sure about my sens. Depending on the mousemat, mouse, rate, dpi and so on you need to change your sens. It is also different to play public than playing wars as you don't need to turn as much around in a war as on public.
Anyway I think playing with a low sens makes you getting a more steady aim. But the disadvantage is that you can't turn or generally change directing/aiming on others head fast enough.
All in all its a question of training and getting used to a sens. So go on practing :)
That ill give you.. U dont have to turn around as much as u do in pubs..
My mouse specs is:
Mx518
500Hz
400dpi
Winsens 10
Ingame sense 1.7
Razer mantis control mat
no accel
But i have this weird feeling that the back of my hand/wrist is touching/laying on the mousepad, Its like i want it of the mousepad so it dosent cause friction and makes me wrist aim..
Try 6, 10 = negative accel.
Its just that when i use high sense, Its to wiggly and all over the place if u know what i mean.. Cause i have a shaky hand as well, But i guess its just about getting used to it..?
you would be better off finding a way to retrain your hand eye coordination than messing with your settings all the time, the more you change your sens the harder itll be to get used to it!
alot of guys who couldn't aim in the first place found using a lower sens makes it somewhat easier to aim because when your aim fails the in game effect is reduced :p
Yea ive all ways been a low sense play.. But never knew if it was the best for me :)
And thnx for the input.. :)
Imo it would be wise to match your game sens to your way of playing the game. If you're rather defensive, play with low sense (more precision), if you're aggressive, raise your sens (faster reactions). It's just an idea. Doesn't mean that you can't be successful as an aggressive player with a low sens.
But there are other, equally important aspects to the game. It's not all about aiming.
Yea i see my self as and aggressive player, I dont like standing back waiting for ppl to come to me, And yes i know theres other aspects to the game.. But im only in it for the aim, might as well be onest.. :)
whether it is high or lowsens doesnt mather as long as it seems good for his aim style
he should play 1on1 vs a friend and change the sens until he can track perfectly after the other one
then just play 3on3 for gamesense and ure ready to own everything on pub and 6on6 :D
