Problem with Steelseries 5h v2 USB

Hi!

I have just received my steelseries 5h v2 USB-Headset, but i have a terrible loud noise in my after playing some minutes of et.
Trying it with or without driver is equal, i always receive the same noise.

Unfortunately i use Windows Vista, but that shouldn't be a problem.
My sytem:

Laptop,centrino duo @ 2 ghz,2 gb ram, 8400M-gs,realtek sound[deactivated]

Thx in advance,screenshots would rly help me!

Vista ain't the problem. Its the cheap equitment that looks good called SteelSeries. Should have got a Sennheiser

had the same problem, you dont need to use the usb connection that comes with it.

use the normal jacks.

well first my sound was also fucked up with vista although it worked fine for a while, installed xp and prob was gone, i didnt had a usb headset tho, sry for my engrishz skillz
