fps problem..

waddup,
before i start, every form of help is much appreciated.
well i got this fps problem ever since i got back from my 2 weeks holiday,before i went on vacation i got 125 stable, and now its dropping and rising to a max of 70 and a minimum of 20. i haven't touched the damn thing or change anything about my computer since i was away and now even after reinstalling ET twice, my fps is still shitty,

any thoughts what the source of my problem is?

nope, as far as i know no one entered the house while i was gone, atleast nothing is missing and i doubt it whether a robber would break in to just f*ck up my ET instead of taking my big ass monitor.
it's not the pb aswell, in fact that made it even worse when i completly updated it with something called pbsetup.exe

Update Punkbuster, or try to re-install your drivers.

Try cleaning your computer, i bet its full of dust after a vacation.
