Lag help

its basicly a hiccup every 7 or 8 seconds

Things I've tried/noticed:

RTCW SP works fine

Other people on my network playing ET do not have the same problem

It happens on all servers (including non-pb servers)

I've tried several wireless cards.

tried deactivating DMZ

tried disabling all port forwards.

tried antivirus/antispyware scan

tried formatting my whole hard drive

Still no luck...

Willing to run any tests etc to find problem.

Also: Cfg is not issue. I tried sheeps and issue is still there.

try using wire.... many wireless systems cause a lot lags

Its not ISP because my brother also plays ET and doesn't have this problem

i got wireless and my problem fixed when i put 100 maxpackets :\

Play around with your network settings, the fish should be somewhere there.

I play with wireless for about 3 years now and only had problems when the connection is bad (let's say worse than maybe 60%).

How well is ur connection? Do you go through lot of walls with the wireless? Ever tried additional/better antennas?
