Recommend me good single rpg titles.

I've tried and liked:
[+++++]Oblivion
[+++++]Fallout 3
[++++]The Witcher
[++++]Diablo 1 & 2
[+++]Morrowind
[+++]Fallout 1 & 2
[+++++]SNES Final Fantasy IV
[++++]SNES Final Fantasy V
[++++]SNES Final Fantasy VI
[++++]PS Final Fantasy VII
I prefer medieval setting and isometric / 3d approach.

i`d recommend mass effect tbh, and from older ones ofc baldurs gate 1+2, nwn 1+2, icewind dale n stuff

heard drakensang is nice also

You download epsxe.
You download plugins.
You google for the psx bios file.

You google for FINAL FANTASY 7, 8, 9 AND CHRONO CROSS isos.

cu in a year.

edit: + what zerender said + zelda games (up till n64), the rest of the rpgs that are made after 1998 are just meh (with the exception of morrowind and kotor 1 and 2)

Clearly you never played Diablo/Dungeon Siege/Titan Quest any other random wnb RPG. Baldur's Gate is nowhere near the Hack 'n Slash genre

definitely Mass Effect - though its sci-fi
Neverwinter Nights 1&2 can give you many hours of kick ass singleplayer
Fable and Jade Empire have great combat systems, but are quite short.
Vampire: the Masquerade: Bloodlines isn;t too shabby either if you like vampires.
dont forget the expansions for morrowind and oblivion.
knights of the old republic 1&2 are epic, even if ur not into star wars.

my personal favourite would be knights of the old republic 1, closely followed by mass effect and oblivion :)

I loved Jedi Knight II (tho I didn't like JDKA so much :/), are the old republic games anything like Jedi Knight II? :) Gonna try Mass Effect and Neverwinter nights.. Already played Oblivion and modded it ALOT.

not exactly..JK was not an RPG afaik..KOTOR focuses much more on storyline than actual combat. combat is kind of turn-based, not exactly real time. its like NWN, but in 3rd person not chase cam.
If you're more into the combat system rather than storyline, Fable and Jade Empire would be excellent choices - though Mass Effect does both combat and storyline better and of course, amazing graphics. KOTOR probably has the best storyline and plot twists of all though..combat isn't exactly its main focus..you have to actually play it to understand what i mean. (yes you do get to shoot blasters, choke people, wield lightsabers and spew lightning)

Sounds good, gonna try it :). Yeah, JK II wasn't an RPG but you gotta admit it was always fun to hack your way through 10 storm troopers :D. I might try Fable too.. Isn't Jade Empire an MMORPG?

Not a fanboy, sir. I liked 1 and 2 alot, but I liked Fallout 3 more. I don't think Fallout 3 is a worthy addition to the series but as a stand-alone game it's great :).
