Broadband Choice

Hello all geekozors

Im currently on 8mb Virgin fibre optic broadband, routed through a netgear shitty wireless router which cannot be disabled (the wireless feature) which i am aware will affect performance,

but my question is, i have been offered to use MAX SUPER-FAST Sky 16 mb broadband (unlimited usage), and wanted to know if the Sky broadband was any good...

virgin is pissing me off to the max lately, but im not 100% sure if thats the whole story with that.

anyone else on sky broadband 16mb "SUPERFAST"?

Go go go, get rid of virgin media while you can!!
virgin's internet throttling is cOOL
Virgin Media are starting to throttle bittorrent. They already started on their 50MB server, so stay away. It's a shame because they were the best around (most stable + fibre optic)

Since sky is ADSL, there's no way your going to get 16MB unless you live seriously close to an exchange centre, so I dbout it's worth it. Worth ringing them up because I think they can estimate the speed you will get.
sky broadband is shit. fact
get 02 I pay £2.50 a month

- YES £2.50 NO MISSPRINT! ! !
Go with an entanet reseller, you won't be disappointed.
