fullscreen -> window senschange?

If I play ql in browser, I play relatively well. As soon as I change to fullscreen, I fuck up pretty badly, though. It's the same in ET. Somehow the sensitivity or something seems changed, but I just can't figure out what it is. Can anyone help?

E: I'm using an MX518 w/o any drivers
