Strange HZ problem

Heya,

I just noticed something strange as I was checking my polling rate settings
with "Mouse Rate Checker". If I just open it and do not move my mouse
and just press the win key to open and close the start menu it shows a
few hz on the checker o0

Now as soon as I just move my mouse and stop any movement and then
press The win key repeatedely I get this #!+ß:

Can anyone enlighten me or test this and tell me if anything happens?
This is too strange especially considering I'm not using an usb keyboard.

I know how to use the program, would just like to know why pressing a key on my ps2 keyboard causes the hz to spike, that's just not logical

Just move your mouse in the box where it says "Move Your Mouse" .......
