Xfire Error and Internet Explorer Error

I log on one morning to see a huge error on my xfire not allowing me to login. This is still the case as it mentions about xfire exceptions. Also my internet error goes like this. I type something in the address bar and it comes up with the following error:

The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context.

Also, I cannot click links and access them. This has become so frustrating.

If you know about these errors can you please tell me how to fix them .. detail would be most appreciated. Thanks

Well whatever browser you use. Does this happen on firefox at these times as well? Now if it does i'd say it's a nameserver problem. If it doesn't i'd say.. ie sucks :>
i only have firefox on laptop and not comp :/ and due to problem ... i am unable to download due to cant click links :/
http: // download .mozilla .org /? product=firefox-2.0.0.1 &os=win&lang=en-GB

copy paste that into explorer task bar thing and remove all the spaces
fixed - uninstall internet explorer 7 if you have this error .. its due to that.. works with some and not others
