Whats wrong with the wire?
If you're experiencing problems with the mouse (it's turning on and off).
I can confirm that you cut and remove about 3cm of the wire and then solder it back together. I'll post some pics that are easy to follow: http://www.sweclockers.com/album/?id=3512

Heh, but i've a G1 that i don't use, so why make this shit if i can fix it in 1 minute just replacing it :P
