Need advice about configs for a friend

Hey cf :x

i need configs / cmds for a friend

he has a 19" crt monitor @ 120 hertz
he requires the config to be low detail and very visible picmip 3 ect but to see long range. and something that is nice

no he has 120 hertz @ 1024 by 768 and 170 hertz @ r_mode 4

got a 19inch crt monitor aswell, perhaps its just me but rmode 6 feels stretched and unclear with fov 90. Playing rmode 8 and 90 fov atm, played with rmode 6 and 100fov for awhile
