DeathAdder scroll squeaking

I would like to ask you about scroll in DeathAdder. My scroll is weird and it's annoying when i scroll. I recorded a short movie to show what is going on

mine squeaks like a door, it makes me imagine there is a tiny little mouse stuck in there trying to get out... it makes me happy

Happy? Two years ago I had the same DeathAdder, but my scroll wheel was fine. I don't know what these Chinese companies do to improve quality... A year ago I had to give back Razer 1.6, They gave me a full refund...

I had same problem. What i did was, I removed the label at the bottom, benieth is a screw, un-screw it and take off the deathadder casing. Then u can easily access your mouse wheel - Mine had some sticky stuff on it (not cum) and was slightly out of place. Hope this helps and good luck.

It doesn't matter how hard I scroll... When I do it slowly it seems to be less noisy, but still exists. I would like to know about similar problems from people who use DeathAdder. I've heard that some people after a few days got rid of it (less noise).
