win 7 fps problems

so I have 33 - 40 fps and com_maxfps doesn't work. so how do I fix it. windows is 32 bit build 7600, also how could I change mouse rate to 500hz which actually works?

I use gefore 8600 gt and intel celeron dual core 2.2 and 1,5 gb memory

I just stated the reason why you have so few FPS. Of course you could optimize how fast ET loads up by defragmenting the drive ET is on and so on, but you - pretty certainly - won't be able to get more FPS.

A piece of advice I can give to you is to use a program called Game Booster. How much it will help you is however unknown to me.

have you downloaded all the drives that windows 7 need (your motherboard - drives also) ?

also you can try : mouse2 on et.exe then "properties " - run as adminstator - "run in windows 2000 "
