SLAC + Cups

Hey guys,

Aren't you fed up of the random 1daycups? .. biased admins? .. cheaters?

we could/im looking at doing some 1 day cups, then move on to bigger things if required.

The cups will feature the new Arrival of SLAC (Anti-Cheat).

Rules etc are prepared.

What do you think? .. Any Suggestions?

Basically, If you like the idea of having some more ET hack free Cups, just say in this thread !



Edit: this will only work if the whole et community shows the popularity of ET + SLAC

ya so their can be no disputable results and slac is a much better anti cheat than pb

edit: would also be done on professional websites which will REQUIRE SLAC guids in order to confirm results

I don't get why you're trusting this slac so much

So far what you've received is a log-in account, which has the same effect like if you're logged into crossfire and you had an option to see who's logged into crossfire while playing in the same server.

So far, this is not any kind of anti cheat, and you're putting all your hopes in a guy who created cheats for money, and now you pay him that maybe he'll create somekind of anti cheat.

Why didn't you message pansemucekl from first place?

what else is there to hope for?
what happens when slac wont work? nothing, we'll go on playing the way we did now, without an anti cheat

so far, slac works much better than pb does, because it doesnt lag a bit

yes but slac will upload the screen shots it takes, and it will be quite obvious who is hacking, and that result will then be terminated and which ever team was playing with a hacker will be forced to forfeit

first of all, use the "reply"

secondary, your just the next guy who want's to run his cups, you'll use slac, before there was pb

if you're sick of all the one-day cups, all you need is a system implemented here where ppl can apply for a cup. One cup gets accepted a day per genre (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) per several hours (17.00 next 18.00) and only trusted ppl will be allowed to run the cup and all cups would come in a seperate box listed by hour. And this would bring a descent site along with it as it would be integrated here with bracketsystem being autogenerated...
