Can't get ET to work, nothing saves, OpenGL problems

Hi,

I have a new laptop (running on windows 7), and have installed ET on it of course, expecting it would work, but it doesn't.

Every time i create a profile, it doesn't save when I restart the game, neither do any settings. Also when I vid_restart if I try to modify my resolution, it doesn't work.
I have ET.exe on compatibility mode for XP...

Has anyone got the solution or can help me on my way to a working Enemy Territory?

Don't need to run ET under compatibility mode on win7
Delete your whole profiles folder in your ET dir and create a new one
