connection problems with ET

hello

so my internet connection is working ok, but when I open xfire and join a wolf server my router completely shuts down and resets. so I called t-com and the technician came today. he changed the splitter, gave me a new router and the problem is still there. so he told me this has to be a software issue. so I'm asking you, what could it be?

it's the same, it resets the moment I open ET even without xfire.

if you are gaming on ur laptop is might be that ur router is too clsoe to the TV or radio, it sounds wierd but I had the same problem. Moving my router 1 meter solved it for me.

it's not that. I'm playing on my pc where's also the router and there's no tv or radio in the room
