Problem starting ET

Hi,

My problem is: I can't start ET without Xfire.

Well, i always start ET from Xfire.
I can't start ET from my Desktop because when I start it up from my Desktop, it stays on the grey screen u always have when u start ET at the beginning. Same for when I wanna use SLAC, it the same as starting ET without Xfire.

I have reinstalled ET and tried to start it from my dekstop. It worked, but later on, when I use my config ingame, I can't start ET anymore from my desktop or from SLAC. I don't know sure but I think the problem may be my cfg.

Anyone who can solve my problem?

Try to use an other config then.

@ exceed: im using this cfg for long time and im used too it. its since SLAC i need to fix this prob

@flex: any solution? how can this be a 'bug'?

Try to launch with slac

Launch by SLAC and clear the Command line (helps for me), or reset "+set fs_game etpro" to "+connect IP:Port; password" (Thats exactly that what xfire do.)

your etmain has the wrong r_lastvalidrenderer in its config. ETpro will start ok, thats why xfire and the above cmd line work. They both start ETpro, not ETmain.
