help r_mode 8

hi i wanna know if theres a way to put r_mode 8 with a nvidia 5500 xfx if my monitor only goes to 1024*786 pixels ?i got and NEClcd 1565 ,
spec: asus a8v deluxe board, athlon 64 3000+ ,1gb ram

If your monitor only goes to 1024x768, then there is no way that you will reach 1280x1024 (r_mode 8).

use r_mode 6 with 1024x768 :x

just use antialiasing and ansitropic filtering.... which downsamples higher resolution to your reso, so for the quality it doesn't matter much.

use special config and you can go upto r_mode 20 (5666x3444) on your 10" LCD monitor
