It has been 5 years since I registered here @ Crossfire. During my time I got many dicks flaming me, some worshipping me. Either way ohhai!.

I registered near the date I quit ET, I was a member for around 2-3 months before quitting. So add 3 years to my date, but Crossfire wasn't born then :(.

So yeah, happy bday to me!!!

I was there when ETTV was FULL or players. RTCW was blooming. IRC was full of thousands of active game searches, ET servers cost a bomb, swertcw was hosting movies, half beat jump wasn't invented, and even before there was ETPro!

I remember when getting to talk to a high/pro gamer was a blessing, not like now when everyone just flames.

lol, ET is dead compared to before... every server was full and had players in. This community is so small now!

ETTV servers full with 100 players with around 10-15 servers... think about it... with 4-5 shoutcasters in each ETTV match, shoutcast in dif languages... amazing.

first of all! Et is not dead :)
there are more then 20 active GERMAN Teams !
ANd much more polaks or NL Teams....
ETTV Server are not empty there still 50 or 150 like the last NC match over 200 whatching this shit!

give a shit about public servers...

i would say ET is much more small but the quality is much better!

I hate Enemy Territory. Its slow, spamy, full of weapons for aimless nubs(hello riflenades and mines]. Thats why i always prefered to play 3o3. But lately i also lost fun from some random 3o3 pcw. All because of aimless shittards with sensitivity so low, that they need half a minute to turn around. Geez guys, common sense really must be attribute of superheroes. GET AIM AND SENS!

Seriously? I've used low sensitivity since I was 14/15... I'm now 20. I use 0.8 sensitivity with my mx518 @ 800dpi... 25cm for 180 turn... everyones sens is different because it suits them. Still manage to get 3hs no matter what sens anyway...

it's like calling someone a noob for having a different resolution. Seriously, you must have had a bad time in ET.

i simply hate ppl who are "glory seekers" and instead of praccing the game they take the easy path...

Same... I reached my highest skill level. Just and then quit because I got GF. Couldn't be bothered to do both :P. Plus started college also, needed to focus. I spent 3 years every single day playing, didn't even go out (except school). All day and night :P... sad really, but it's dedication. <3 friends back then, so many hours of fun.

I had played clanwars for about year and I didn't have any idea what is crossfire back then. TomtE told me that there was going to be some 3o3 cup and I should register there and I finally realised what is "ET-community"
