Rinput alternative?

A windows update seems to have cause RInput to stop working for me.

"R-Input Injector"

Failed to Allocate Console


Is there a workaround for this or are their any alternatives to get the same effect?

tried it briefly didn't work. (got 64-bits, if thats some problems (it said 32 program somewhere)) gonna look into it tomorrow after work. hope it work and if it do you are my new hero

Sorry guys for not updating back in the day. Study took my time and I forgot about it for a while. Then I saw the HL2 engine was updated with raw input, which meant for me that I did not have to develop a x64 update for RInput.

About the source, I want to reconstruct it before release, but I definitely am a supporter of open source software. The source will be posted on this blog for sure, but I can not give you an indication when.

For people with allocating console issues try starting the console from command prompt or start the program as admin.



I download the new version 1.3 and it works for me running from command prompt on in a batch file.
