some ppl tell me lower dpi in my mouse is best for accuracy, some others say to put dpi on 1600 and thats better accuracy i tried it and really dont know , what u guys think lower dpi or higer dpi?
some other thing , if u desactivate the option game detection in ur mx518 drivers ur mouse wont work at best ?does it still can change ur dpi ? or it just go as a regular mouse who does nothing great?
1600 dpi means that youd get a response when moving your mouse 0.016mm
Now lets say you play with 120 fov and 800x600 resolution,
that makes a 360-turn 2400 pixels, which again (in theory)means perfect performance with a sense that let you move 360° at 3,8cm.
If you play with these specs and use atleast 15cm to do a 360-turn on your mousepad, I'd go for 400.
Using higher dpi than needed may result in negative accel and shit. Atleast i experienced trouble when having my mx518 at 1600 dpi (I use about 40cm for a 360, lowmid sense)
With high resolution, small fov and high sense you should considder using higher than 400 dpi, since the mouse might "jump pixels".
You also spoke about gamedetection, just try it out, it's the best way of finding out! :O)
