Format with overclocked CPU

If I format my C drive on which Windows has been installed, will that undo the OC'ing of my CPU? Or do I have to get my CPU back to its default speed for the format to run correctly?

what the fuck..

if your CPU is stable with the overclock then it's no problem if you format and reinstall your OS
First of all what did you overclock?
If you need to ask this. I doubt your overclock is stable.
