Modifying horizontal/vertical mouse sens with a driver

Hey, I've just acquired a Logitech MX Performance, and as it's not a gaming mouse, the driver doesn't offer you the opportunity to tweak x and y axis. I read an old tutorial which explains how to convert your mouse to run Razer's driver (http://www.crossfire.nu/tutorials/20/converting-your-mouse-to-run-razer-drivers), but it only suits Windows XP (I have W7). If anyone can help me as to how to make this Razer driver work for my mouse or with any other solutions for tweaking x and y axis out of game (since the new cvar servers limit m_pitch and m_yaw), I'd be grateful :)
Cheers, pAci.

Why would you like to set your mouse Y-axis dpi low?
