Can't set my resolution higher than 1024x768! #HELP

I have tried to update my graphic cards but the options are still limited. Anyone know how to get more resolutions?

Got a stunning dell U2311H, 23"

He's just being a fucktard like usual.

Newer versions of Windows seem to have problems (or are more reluctant) to read the right data from your monitor (supported resolutions, refresh rates, etc.) when you still use a VGA connector. Check the Dell site if they still have any monitor drivers or support software.

Alternatively, you could try to add custom resolutions to the control panel of your graphical drivers (I know at least NVIDIA supports this).

I dont have HDMI:S
Only DisplayPort, DVI (HDCP) and VGA..

best would be dvi to dvi but there shouldn't really be issues if you use an adapter
