FPS Test - What kind of score do you get?

Sungi send me this yesterday and said he scored something around 600 fps with his new pc so I got interested what kind of average fps crossfire community has.

Download file and rename it to from dm83 to .dm84 and move it to your etpro/demos/, start ET and mods -> etpro and then open console and type /timedemo 1 and go to replays -> tkbtimedemo.dm84. After watching the demo (takes around 30 seconds) it shows your average fps on console.

Post your results below and what kind of PC you have.

I scored 290.3 fps with NOTHING open on background.

AMD Radeon HD 6850

I have 2 PC and a laptop

My main pc:
amd phenom II x4 @ 3.93 MHz
4GB RAM @ 1200MHz
Gigabyte Radeon 6850
230fps

Other pc:
intel corei3-2130 @ 3400MHz
4GB RAM @ 1600MHz
Geforce 8600GTS
245.3fps

laptop:
core i5 3210M @ 2900MHz
8GB RAM @ 1600MHz
with "energysaver gpu" intel hd graphics 4000 140fps
with "high performance" amd radeon hd7670M 120fps

Interesting that i have the same cpu and graph card and im running my cpu at higher clock speed, still getting worse performance... probably something config or video driver related stuff here.

Also interesting that in my laptop the "weaker" gpu makes higher framerate.

Anyway with the intel i3 PC my fps never drops below 125 on any server and on any map, however with my AMD Phenom PC my fps often drops below 125 on custom maps (like venice and stuff).


*EDIT*

I tried killerboy's "high fps" cfg (with r_primitives 2 and 1568x1008 res) and i had 300.4 fps average this time, so yea smth in my cfg is eating fps :p

have you tried process lasso + et at core 1 + pb at core 2 (windows uses 0) and set to gaming mode. if you change the punkbuster process to lower priority it will even fuck with pb so you get less lag but wont get kicked for fucking with pbnkbstrB.

I wrote some time ago about my subjective diffrences in feeling using similar cards on my laptop and tried to say that I like more intel hd graphics. Idk why it is what it is.

No. The new nvidia drivers suffer from the same "issue" AMD has. If you updated recently, give it a shot. Though I'm guessing your single core performance is the culprit.
