Media i.e. video camera.

Hi guys, one of my main hobbies is to do alot of filming at e-sport events, i currently use a Canon MV901 Mini-DV.

The reason im here is coz i wanna upgrade, I am looking to spend from around £500-£700 on a new video camera, with this i am looking for something that is good at night, and in the day, it does not matter if it has manual or auto focus, and i am not worried about the size of the lense as i wont be using many extensions onto it.

Thanks for any feedback im just really confused on where to look atm ive been looking at alot of places i.e. ebuyer, overclockers, pcworld, currys, comet. thats about it, but im really not sure on what to be loooking for. If any1 thinks i should be looking for a different type of camera feel free to let me know :)
