3d support with xorg-x11-7.0-r1 and ati-drivers-8.27.10
dear forum thread,
today i updated my gentoo linux 2006.0 to the latest version of xorg-x11 (7.0-r1) and to the latest ati-drivers (8.27.10).
since now i can't use direct rendering any more. :<
if i try to use 'fglrx' as driver in my xorg.conf my X even don't starts up. when using 'radeon' as driver X starts, but dri is disabled, since xorg is using only the mesa driver.
pls help. <3
