sound problem

hi
i recently installed a new cfg
but now the sound quality had changed so that it all sounds 'unsharp'
i also hear metal footsteps which i didnt have before
does any1 know how to solve the sound and footsteps problem

yeah well the footsteps are more a metallic sound
i always heard footsteps ofc
but these r just mettalic , also when a nade rolls on the floor its ounds like a metallic thing and it pisses me off
really annoying sounds
