PB problem? Solution here

Since lots of people have asked about their PB problems today, and some have posted the answer yet people are still asking, I'll put it in a prominant place.

Updating your PB via pbweb isn't the solution.

You need to go here and download pbsetup (windows/linux/mac). Run this, find your game directory and run an update.

Your game will (hopefully) be fine after this.

Edit: This is for the O/S exception message, it could be that your PB problem is unrelated.

now i think my game at least work .. :p

first i dl pbsec and put into my pb folder , then i dl the files manually , and it didnt help either , then i tried this solution , and i just played 2 straight maps on the #efterlyst server ..

Works fine atm i guess ..

dont trust PB its evil...
just read the PB_EULA.rtf located in "Docs" folder. Here is a little sample of what you agreeing to by installing PB on your machine; "Licensee understands and agrees that the information that may be inspected and reported by PunkBuster software includes, but is not limited to, devices and ANY files residing on the hard-drive and in the memory of the computer on which PunkBuster software is installed." Yeah you read that right, ANY information from the hard-drive on which the PB is installed!!

and my game play is even more worst... i only see yellow sky some objects black weapons and if i hit enemy (without crosshair cause i cant see it) i see lot of yellow boxes and if enemy hits me all i see is yellow yellow yellow like flash bang in CS but YELLOW.. gaash.. punkbuster

I had a new hack check out, it worked fine on my system, with multiple mods, but appears to fail for many, causing kicks. It was pulled this morning, and all servers should be fine again.
