et on windows vista

hi i got a new pc .. it runs with windows vista
so i can´t play et on my new pc... :(
does somebody know something about en et vista update or something like that??

pls help...:(

Compatibility mode for = Windows XP SP2
Setting = Disable visual themes, Disable desktop composition, Disable display scaling on high dpi settings. Check these 3.

Privilege level = Run this program as an administrator, check this also.

To find these settings -> right click "ET shortcut" -> compatibility...

After these settings ET works fine in Vista Ultimate x86/x64

I got windows vista and it started running just well.. but it sucks in other ways.. like it doesnt support many games that are old ( even when change compatibility ).. and even if you find a vista patch for the game.. it wont work.. so thats just great! .. you need to install all the possible patches and divx9.0c and that usual stuff..

Change compatibility works on ET.
rottis quite much seems to know whats up with the problem. try that!
