i have bout 60 Gt of fragmovies atm.. and 80 Gt hdd.. o/
the best thing was, i usually had to wait like 2 min before it loaded a map in et, and now it was like 5 seconds : DDDD i was like wtf, and no fps lag when you come to the server :D
:S stupid to use x264 with this kind of ratio

just get some proper settings, quality dosn't only depend on bitrate like you think it does
if the ratio kills you, you can always dl mq :S
my english is even more than ok, just didnt know whats your point
btw: making it 40 mb/min would make quality worse (a bit, but still)
cuz thats how codecs work.
i wanted to make it as lossless as possible, but affordable to download- 50mb/min is kinda good for that sake
if they do, there is still a 22mb/min mq version
i made it to prevent the whine @ ratio, but i see it only made the whine stronger ;f
dont expect hd @ p2 + 64mb ram
why not use good settings and a lower / mid bitrate and get the same result but mroe people will be able to watch / DL your movie?
its not hard to find decent megui settings if you can't make them yourself

if u dl the xvid version of hd movies, you certainly wont have any problems while decoding them
acozz movies' quality with 50mb/min is worse than many movies with 30-35mb/min so I wouldn't say the settings are so good. I also got some graphic errors from time to time while decoding acozz movie but those can be due to the file was corrupted when I extracted it because u polish retards can't event pack with winrar

and if it's just me sucking @ dl & unpack, how come that acozz movie and this movie by the other polak are the only movies that I've had that corruption shit with and have a special mention for it in their readmes? :D
u r talking a lot bullshit man and definitely can't take any criticism, or are you really retarded enough to actually believe that for example acozz movie has "very good megui settings"?
Sharktooth's (who got thanked also) HQ-Insane was the basis for Decimated settings, only a few tweaks here and there plus zones.
This latest movie I'm doing is a bitch to encode, and I'm still working on settings, so it's all relative to the content of the movie. Pace, colour, resolution, framerate, texture quality bla bla bla.
about tuto., i'd write it myself but
a) i dont know much about encoding, why one settings value is better then another, i only know it is and that i use it cause it gives me better results.
b) my engrish anit that good
c) some insigiht about what influences how hard a clip will be for encoding is what ppl realy need, such as level of motion, colors, how bright/dark clip is (a good example is mellow darkness). i could go trought xfire journals/forum topics in which you wrote some things, but i still think it would be much better if you wrote it yourself.

Falls dus wo anders runtergeladen hast, dann liegt das daran, dass du warscheinlich nicht die allerneueste winrar version hast.

I dont think its just the resize casuing the problem, some movies have awful gun positions too.

- no editing at all
- the ingame-sound wasnt good
- music was used in "Violent Reflection"
- motion-blur wasnt good
- quality wasnt special either for such a file-size
