After 2 years since the release of my first Enemy Territory movie - superboyy puran - I've finally finished my second big project.
This movie is about our 3on3 fun clan called The Wolfenstein Killers. Since we played under other aliases, and I had just finished my first movie, which got a great response, I've decided that presenting TWK with a movie would be a nice introduction to those who dont know who we are yet (yawn ruined the surprise a bit tho:P ). Frags used in the movie are from 3on3 practice matches, many are from official wars. The whole idea of creating a new movie, was too give something fresh to the community, a movie that wouldnt get lost in the sea of movies we're getting today. I came up with many new effect and sync ideas that were never seen in an Enemy Territory fragmovie before. Hope you enjoy.

lol'ed @ rivatuner goggles xD
overall i really didnt enjoy it, maybe also because its so way toooo overcam'd.
wont say anythin about sync cause that would lead into a useless, way too long discussion.
ps: no HD = /me sad panda :)
but dont think you could watch 90 minutes of this.
not HD?
However watching a movie full of midget player models does not count for HD, and it's a fucking pain to manually resize the movie back into the old aspect ratio with MPC.
Have a nice night.
10/10 for me
...WATCHINGX)...
one of the few interesting ET movies
It was something new! Nice cams, nice effects, overall nice frags!
I rly liked the fonts 2
GG
Just regret that the end of the intro with the music's stop is too suddenly.
10/10
10/10
nice ideas and i love these kind of music <3 :D
amazing gg !
Intro is ok, although the font/style is pretty generic, I guess it kind of reminds me of the movies from 2004 etc so people might like that. The idea with the faces changing from your own faces to the ET model is nice, but it's not greatly executed. The green thing looks kinda cheap, but a nice idea.
Secondly, there was no transition in the music from the intro to the start of the frags...the intro music just stopped all of a sudden (which I hate) and then the fragmusic started. :(
The sync at this part is definitely very nice - although it could but I'm sad it's just snapping clips instead of using video transitions.
On the frags, the sync is nice, but with the music I just expect to see midgets dancing around a campfire or something. Although it syncs, it really doesn't suit imo. I won't talk about this much since it's just taste I guess.
The fov was too high.
The cams were really good. You've obviously spent a lot of time on them so that's always a good thing.
Were the RTCW sounds necessary?
The effect at 3:02 was ok but was it necessary? Or just to flash some effects?
Again, no transition between the music tracks. Very disruptive to the flow of the movie.
Now, the effect at 3:55 is very unnecessary by the looks of it, and has no relation to the actual footage. It would've been nicer if you simply synced this sound to the nade explosion frag a few seconds later imo.
Cam at 5:05 was nice, and the Google Earth idea worked well, even though it's been used a lot.
I don't know yet if I like the rewind thing at 5:45 yet, it just gives me an excuse to check how long the movie has to go, instead of me being completely into it.
Again, no audio transiiton just after. :-(
The cam at 9:45 was really nice by why why why not a smooth transition into the player's pov? The cam after that is awesome though, and the transition is a little better but could use some work.
The effect at 11:00...again, is it necessary. It felt kind of like a 'hey, look...I used after effects' kind of thing.
The sync was kinda cool at 11:30.
When I saw 'Thanks for Watching' pop up I checked the time and thought 'Oh noes...not a 3 min outro' since they've been done to death and I'm even sick of Decimated's.
It was watchable the first time, but at the time of writing this I just want to skip through it and try to see if there was anything interesting in it I could talk about. The effect at 12:52 was....wtf? Don't know why you used that. Anyway, I guess some people will enjoy the outro, but I didn't get the relevance of Street Fighter, although the guy was called Blanka...
Anyway, I must say before people get confused that I think this is well above the average, but I think guys like us can take constructive criticism from each other so I didn't mind posting this. (Haven't posted a comment this long since back in the sweRTCW days)
I'll keep the movie, but I don't know if I'll watch it often...I'm willing to watch it more though. I haven't enjoyed it much yet but I'm glad you put a lot of effort in and I'm not surprised lots of people do like it.
Good work.
I have to say max: You take too seriously this movie. :p
I am mostly agree with you on your points anyway.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU SUPERBOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! :(
Also it has been done before? I thought I came up with something creative :(

about half of the things you wrote in this kinda style:
why that, and not without it; or why without that, and not with it?
by thinking "is that necessary?" no moviemaker will ever release a good fragmovie. ofc overdoing some effects is bad, but having none at all?
now to go what i think could be nonpersonal comment:
- the only rtcw sounds i used were for the bullets that missed, since et doesnt have those. that bothered you?
- i agree with the lack of audio transitions, but then again rather a pause between two parts, then switching a song in the middle of a frag. also every part has its own kinda start mood and pace, it starts and ends according to the music.
- how can a 3 min outro have been done to death? its like saying: not another 14 min movie, those have been done to death.
- if you ever played street fighter, and know that there is clan named streetfigher, you'd figure out what it was all about
- i didnt do a special transition between two frags, because i find that same as using random effects for no reason (infamous twirls, radial zoom, etc). but when i do: those rockets that explode i the screen, acctually have stfu writen in them, which goes exactly with whats happening in the game (not to mention that the lyrcs say something like: "STFU, STFU".), its "unnecessary".
i kinda doubt this was truly a constructive comment. or maybe its just the negative part, and you're writing the positive half as i write this :P
- Of course not none at all. But if the effect is just thrown in for the purpose of having an effect in there, then I'd rather have none at all.
"now to go what i think could be nonpersonal comment"
- There was personal? I didn't think we had anything against each other. :S
"the only rtcw sounds i used were for the bullets that missed, since et doesnt have those. that bothered you?"
- Yes.
"i agree with the lack of audio transitions, but then again rather a pause between two parts, then switching a song in the middle of a frag. also every part has its own kinda start mood and pace, it starts and ends according to the music."
- I see where you're coming from here, it's maybe personal preference that I prefer unabrupt endings to tracks (particularly the intro one), but I can dispute that the mood of the music - if there was any - did not reflect the mood of the content.
"how can a 3 min outro have been done to death? its like saying: not another 14 min movie, those have been done to death."
No it's not. Maybe I should have added that the slow rolling credit text taking up 3 minutes at the end of a movie has been done to death. You even put all the credit roll text in a document in the rar so it was even less useful. :S
"if you ever played street fighter, and know that there is clan named streetfigher, you'd figure out what it was all about"
- I have played it and I knew about the clan. When I saw there names I got a little nostalgic in fact and decided to look up streetfighter on wikipedia, but I didn't like it being used. :(
"i didnt do a special transition between two frags, because i find that same as using random effects for no reason (infamous twirls, radial zoom, etc). but when i do: those rockets that explode i the screen, acctually have stfu writen in them, which goes exactly with whats happening in the game (not to mention that the lyrcs say something like: "STFU, STFU".), its "unnecessary"."
- Yeah I noticed the STFU on the rockets, but I didn't understand why those rockets were used in the first place? It just seemed so out of place.
"i kinda doubt this was truly a constructive comment. or maybe its just the negative part, and you're writing the positive half as i write this :P"
- I guess it can only be constructive if you look at it that way, and don't see it as personal. :( I'm not writing a positive half because there's no need to. Unless I reply to people arguing against their positive constructive points, then I probably agree with them.
This movie is an other category than (in my opinion) max's one. He made a fragmovie and Superboyy made a comic movie (in positive pov). You dont really can compare them ! But at me professional wins over the funny. And I dont say this movie has no professional things but i look the whole movie.
I dont really want to go into the effects to anatomize them:
Quote "I came up with many new effect and sync ideas that were never seen in an Enemy Territory fragmovie before. Hope you enjoy. "
Before I watched i didnt know what can i expect. After the watching i had to say half of the effects were really smart, BUT half of them were really pesky (I said 'Why why why ?').
The cams were really good and new, fresh. Maybe too much but i enjoyed them.
Frags were good also, but i never concentrate on them. :-p
Sync were acceptable, this is not a q3 movie. Anyway this music is not my taste so i dont really enjoyed the music (personal thing). Thats why i couldnt concentrate on syncing.
If i gave a 9+ on the max's movie i would give a 8+ on this.
I felt like watching that lettu & clouver movie with better quality.
Anyway i enjoyed the movie exclude the annoying things ! Well done Superboyy, you made a unique movie and THIS is the important !
9.5/10
I liked most of the ideas you included there superboyy, eventhough the config looked sort of standard/not outstanding. That was not the main goal anyways I reckon.
Frags were a bit... well, 3o3-ish, thus not too entertaining I've gotta say. All in all it was a highly enjoyable movie, at least for my taste. This one's a keeper for me ;)
I think you could do an even better movie for e.g a 6o6 clan (if you would be bothered :P ). Still looking forward to your next project, 2 thumbs up.
8,5/10

I just wish it was in widescreen, but at least you didn't screw up the aspect ratio. Oh, and I hated the music. :)
Great work!
