Here's a short summary of the Top 5 Nations where they got their golden medals from.

1. Finland Finland

Last season NC winners Finland always had good players. Too bad the EC that is played now doesn't have any Finnish players left that make a chance on a medal. But at the start of the EC there was the all Finnish Insignia Cadre who made a surprise by beating one of the favorites Team-Dignitas. And there was Impact Gaming with 4 Finnish players of which two former EC winners. Now the players that won gold for Finland in the past are:

- mystic (uQ-Gaming)
- Raveneye (uQ-Gaming)
- jauhis (uQ-Gaming)
- saintt (uQ-Gaming)
- jafo (uQ-Gaming)
- Drc (uQ-Gaming)
- Feuersturm (saevus)
- Xes (saevus)
- Sanctity (dignitas)

Of course with an all-finnish side winning the Eurocup Finland scored well in the Medal Score. But the presence of Sanctity in Team Dignitas and one season later Feuerstrum and Xes in saevus has proven the point that Finland always provides good players to the scene. Furthermore besides the golden medals Finland has scores a lot of silver and bronze medals which also shows the activeness of this Finnish community. Congratulations with the first spot.

2. Estonia Estonia

Estonia has the highest amount of golden medals in the ET Eurocup history but still they're not the number 1. And that's because of a mentality with the Estonians that counts for more factors in live. It's all or nothing. Estonians either win a tournament or they get kicked out in an early stage. With the exception of the Eurocup XII where the famous Idle.ee got to the final but then lost to uQ Gaming. This year might show another exception of with Team Dignitas having three Estonian players and still in run for the title although that scenario is a very long and tough one. The golden men for Estonia are:

- Night (dignitas, Idle.ee, u96d)
- r3vers (dignitas, u96d)
- RELOAd (dignitas)
- Holz (idle.ee)
- intact (u96d, dignitas)
- elps (u96d)
- Deadmeat (saevus)

With one of ET's best players on their side Estonia has gained 11 gold medals of which 3 were for Night. Thereby he holds the record for most Eurocup golden medals per player. And au contraire to Finland, Estonia still have players in this seasons Eurocup. They can still go for gold with players in Team Dignitas.

3. Germany Germany

Germany has a lot of Bronze medals but only 4 golden medals gained by two players. The many medals that Germany has were mostly gained by a team that was almost all-German with a few exception, and that played under the flags of many many clans. I'm talking about the Junk52, God's Inc., SpaceS team lead by Urtier. They got a lot of medals in the past and with Urtier still playing for Team Dignitas with no doubt this guy is the #1 player in Germany. He has a lot of Eurocup medals. Germany's gold diggers:

- Urtier (dignitas, idle.ee)
- Senji (dignitas, idle.ee)

Urtier and Senji still have a chance on this years golden medal but of course there's also the side of Pro5 which contains 5 German players. And there's snoop at the j52 who are in the best position for the golden medal. So the only scenario in which Germany doesn't get it's 5th golden medal is when TLR.eSports takes the win.

4. Austria Austria

Austria medals are based on their dynamic-trio of Rapture, Darky and Potter. They gained all the medals for Austria together with the exception of one golden medal which was won by Rapture with dignitas in the first Eurocup. Now all these golden medals were won in the 1st and 2nd Eurocup and after that Austria didn't have any representatives in the following Eurocups until last season when their trio returned on the side of zeroPoint! and fought their way into the final where they eventually lost. The result was three silver medals and the combinations of these two brings Austria to a 4th place in the Medal Score.

- Rapture (saevus, dignitas)
- Darky (saevus)
- Potter (saevus)

5. Sweden Sweden

Fifth is Sweden and the only thing that differs them from Israel is their golden medal won by feruS with u96d against Parodia. Now just like Israel; Sweden had an all-Swedish team that gained the second place. This was iNfensus, silver medalists in Eurocup IX. And since that Sweden never came close to a medal with the exception of feruS of course. And this season is the same for Sweden. They have no players in the Eurocup left. Will Sweden ever come back? Here's feruS:

- feruS (u96d)

At least feruS can call himself the only one who ever won a gold medal in the ET EC for his country. Unfortunately he isn't playing the game anymore.
