A week has passed since the release of Crossfire 4, which makes this a perfect opportunity to have a look at what we're planning on doing next. Your feedback has certainly been useful and compared to prior launches of major Crossfire upgrades, we're happy with the limited amount of flame we received. This however doesn't mean everyone is happy, certainly not.

It has been two years since we set out on arguably the biggest project this community has embarked upon. It's been a long road with many hurdles to take, many lessons to learn but also with many joyful moments in which we saw our little baby turn out to be exactly what we envisioned from the start. We sculpted Crossfire 4 to our liking with a mutual goal in mind: giving this community what it deserves.

Two months have passed since the AEF event -- seems like time flies. The holidays are over, and that depressing nine-to-five job is knocking on the door again. If it ain't that lame ass job, it's those miserable school days. Looking outside the window, the rain is pouring down like a motherfucker -- it appears the sunny days are definitely over.

While one could grumpily reply that teams should do the effort themselves and stay active and competitive, we should not kid ourselves with such ideas that are obviously too good to be true for this old game.

A couple weeks ago a random British site claimed the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 was going to be delayed for 2 weeks. The source listed was a link to another page on the same site showing an allegedly legitimate release schedule scheme from Activision-Blizzard. It was hard to call this proof as the trail stopped there, since the scheme couldn't be found elsewhere on the net.
