How so? I can only image that something like this gives more fps :

this is not rivatuner, its picmip hack combined with a "gamma" bug

rivatuner affects everything. in this screen the rocks and players are unaffected so its a guy with picmip hack and changed it last map, then loaded again so models and maps are different

I tried rivatuner but it removed huge parts of goldrush and fucked up my crosshair + didnt help fps at all so I dropped it.

if u still want to try, adjust opengl settings and put lodbias to minus values (top right)

player models and some map graphics are different picmips

it works like this.

you change a value in graphics
you do vid_restart
then you change it again, ie. change picmip from 0 to 999.
vote and change map WITHOUT vid restart
half of the textures are now with picmip0, half with 999 (models and map+rocks differently, fyi).

so its called gammabug because it was originally used for gamma only

Ye well they told me some years ago that its ok as long as you dont remove textures, but I think its not allowed either to make a bush see-thru if it normally isnt, while still keeping the texture there for a bit :P

Just dont use it and use your gpu settings imo, like texture quality @ high performance

I doubt you have more fps with that settings, doent effect et afaik

i dunno rly,in rivatuner theres an option of mipmap detail level,someone explained me some time ago.i dont use this program

I'm using it to enable Fan control and overclocked my Graphic card(+its Fan).

Used it for about a year now, havent had any trouble whatsoever.

PC makes abit more noise from the Fan to 100% but does help performance.

removing trees is not allowed, what u did is not allowed, its allowed as long as u dont remove trees, also its not allowed to use an external xhair.

its quite hard, if u are using a program for it they could catch u by a pbss because if u lean with an external xhair it doesnt gets removed, so u can see your xhair while u lean, same goes for when u are dead. but since pb is off...

if u are using some piece of paper or something like that there is no way they can catch u

the rule is that, rivatuner is allowed to a certain extent where bushes and trees grow thiner.

In other words, once your bushes/trees grow even the slightest bit thinner and it gives you a visual advantage, its not allowed.
