First buy yourself a turntable. Then buy some records. After you got a decent amount of records, buy 2 turntables and a mixer.

i just want to know what he wanne do so maybe i could help him!I dont ask your meaning ;)
Either get yourself turntable(s) for vinyls or get soem digital ones for your hdd music (mp3s).
If you choose the mp3-way, get some HQ music, a decent table with a mixer in it and a decent programm (nothing like Virtual DJ, try tractor or smth like that)

Play arround with the music, feel the beats, which track can be played after/mixed with which track?

Learn how to use the different effects, settings
and and and which table?

Technics MK-1200 if you don't want to upgrade later

There are tons of DJ forums that can help you better than the average crossfire user.

And if you actually plan to play infront of a crowd or even at a small party the right track selection is WAY more important than mixing up some stuff or adding random effects. You need a feeling for what song the "crowd" might like and how they'll probably react on it.

And btw, especially with vinyl, it's a quite expensive hobby. Cheapest is digital DJing with mp3s. Get Traktor (or something similar, ~100-200€) and a decent controller (starting price at around ~300) and you're pretty much good to go. CD/mp3 combo is way more expensive already as you need a mixer and two tables (~1800€ in total for a start). And for vinyl, well.. vinyl isn't too cheap, especially the follow up costs. All can be pimped with some effect controllers etc (unlimited costs! :P).

DJ hero lol
You put in a track and sometimes shout in the mic like: Come on people, party! Shake it, etc.
Get some music taste > save money > save braincells > profit.
