yeah, sometimes you can read about that on BBC or Spiegel.de
They are the poorest ppl in Turkey (which is a 1. World Country afaik).
But they are freaking religious (like wearing Burkas and that stuff) while the other ppl in Turkey (f.e. in Ankara) behave like Europeans (you will barely see a woman covering her hair in Ankara or Istambul)
because all the muslims here have their roots in the Anatolian part of Turkey (thats where all the guestworkers came from).
Everyone who was freaking poor there came to germany/other EU countrys which had an booming enonomy after WW2
