I hear the small step after paying very much attention to it, but it wouldn't be something I would notice in a match like that. It is to little sound in my opinion. I wouldn't say it was enough to give away r3vers exact position.

I think it is... perfo is a 'sound player' I played a lot of wars with perfo tested his cfg and his kills are based on sound... you hear perfo very little on comms even if his teammates are not telling the enemies position... he isnt gonna wait till the enemie shows itself... he always hunts on a enemie... this kill was clearly sound based and reaction bases... no matter what... perfo always focusses on his sound to find the enemies... no matter what war and in what stage...

Situation: perfo hears something behind the bank even I can hear it with my crappy headset and sounds imagene perfo with 3x better sound settings then me and a Sennheiser PC 150... he heard him... he walked towards behind of the bank... you can cleary see perfo doubting if there is someone there but in the end he kills him... lets be honest this is clearly bullshit and it was good sound setting with good reaction face it perfo played well that night and I hope he will come to the LAN so he can proof he is not wallhacking so all you emo's can stfu about this and continue with your 'great' life and your cheatbusting carreer
Sounds more like u hitting the ground, but between the explosion and u hitting the ground I am surprised you can even hear something like that and even pinpoint the exact position :). So if you insist it wasnt a lucky guess... btw how do you use comms with that kind of sound?? :O
axis guys indeed, i can't take on more than 1 at the same time except if i'm in a better position which i clearly wasn't, and if i would've gibbed r3vers he had had fullspawn which is better for my team.

Your eyes dont just "reflect the images into focus". They contain specialised photosensitive cells that are triggered by light, thereby capturing the images from your surroundings, and converting it to neuro-signals (wrong word :O).
Think about it, if you think there is someone around the corner, are you going to assume they're standing? Then shoot and (if they're crouching) miss a shot? Or.. Do you assume they are crouching and aim lower and (if they're standing) hit atleast a body.
yeah he does make a sound but i don't think you would pick that up while playing a 6o6. id say it was either comms or a smart guess as in only something a 3o3 player would truly know about ;)
and about the crouch tracking its blatant when someone camps there most likely to be crouching its just an instant reaction to go for the crouched hs position.

Acutally, watching the vid 3-4 times i could hear r3vers, but i cant imagine that someone would hear it in game with ventrilo on and know that the sound comes exactly from the corner he looked in. I guess it's just me.

If this was wallhack he would had reacted way quicker then now, he checks the right corner ( smartplay tbh ), sees r3vers, and gave him 3 hs, with wallhack he would had given r3vers 3 hs 0,5 seconds earlier.

the exact position, and if you dont see the enemy when you reach the back of the bank, this fact just reaffirm he is there in the corner
you dont need a good headset for this, only:
1. good sound setting, enough high volume level what is needed for this game (=half wallhack). This is good for hearing steps, jumping, using and trowing med/ammo packs, reloading, getting a weapon, etc.
2. knowing the map exactly, if you play 1000 wars and 10000 times on public, you will know each parts of these maps, but what you need to know? Just extract pak0.pk3 somewhere and check ..\sound\player\footsteps and you will see. You will know where these materials are if you play so many times on a map and that could help you more that you can imagine...
3. you need just some brainwork, if you hear something, you use the #2. and if you dont see enemy there, you need think over where could he be
4. if there are more possible positions, you need check firstly the closer one, then the others, but you know the other positions too, so if the enemy isn't in the first position you quickly turn to the next and you could not be surprised with backshooting etc.
These things don't need a good aim, just some brainwork. And this could be called a high-skilled ability in recognition of situations. I think r3vers would have done the same in inverse situation.

That vid doesn't prove anything and there is really nothing special about it.. If he would have WH on that situation why on earth would he stop moving is mouse for a sec and after that start attaccing the enemy= He saw the enemy after he walked to that "room" and just reacted faster than the idle player in question.
