tbh see if you can get to St Marlo (forget how you spell it) and get a one day tic for Jersey. Nice small island with nice beaches and a south france climate

Normandy coast is great (Granville, Mont Saint-Michel), Bretagne is wild but cool too, La Baule has the "greatest beach of Europe" even though seaside is fucking crowded (ugly buildings everywhere) and is a bit posh. Vendée is way different, but not many thingd to do I think (Ile de Ré is awesome though). Thats for the spots I visited/heard of.

I drove down towards Spain & along the E11 there's some immense scenery, we didn't really do any trendy stuff though ^^
