Remove PB!!!!

Fucking done with PB, kicked 4 times from hirnlos on the same map for loosing key packets 9014 blabla.
Lagspikes each 5 secs etc etc. Unplayable shit.

Force SLAC on all pubs and get rid of this shit punkbuster!
Why there are servers with SLAC already and others still using pb.

Others use combination of lua and admins watching the server.

tbh i prefer playing on the SLAC pub...but tonight it was empty so i went to hirnlos

thats what I do but people seem to prefer lagging on Bio or Hirnlos, fear for SLAC I guess xD

To clean the community using a global anticheat as punkbuster was meant to be maybe?
Don't see who should complain about SLAC apart from the 5 users of linux and the 2 from mac... or the ones that fear something about a new anticheat software.

Of course it has to be forced, both in pubs and competition. Why not?
And pls don't reply me that bullshit of chapjla stealing info, malware etc :D

People who want to start with ET... well.. they don't know shit about ET yet. and as soon as they want to play they can't join a server cause they dont have SLAC,, so mainly we're cutting of any new future players cause at first they didn't know about SLAC so they can't join any server if every server gets SLAC on.

Nice KILLING the ETPRO community... ( since jaymod will probably never use SLAC.. or other mods , I REALLY HOPE SO. .. or this is gonna be the start of killing the community... )

not a big issue, message telling them to download SLAC cause is required and link to the website, just like PB did.
Jaymod and other mods have nothing to do with the competition mod and they can keep their crappy PB on.
The reason why many quit ET was the number of cheaters and the lack of control over them, now that we have a decent anticheat for once you are gonna complain?

i'm not gonna complain, but you just solved my problem...

once they make SLAC serverside, they must provide a download link and a message that you have to download slac in order to play ET..

that should be a feature, with a BIG priority in my opinion... do you think not?

I think entering to the SLAC pub already says something about SLAC being required, I'm sure they have brain to add this :D

Tbh, every day, I see topics here dealing with SLAC problems, causing FPS drops, account problems, lag peaks, detected as a virus, not loading, making ET crashing... It does not encourage me to download it for the moment...

please keep in mind their are 4000 SLAC users and all these users have 4000 different pcs, so it will be hard to have an anti-cheat to be flawless, most of these problems have been solved by chaplja, and support is given on irc & forum, if users report the problem with enough details most of the time its solved in a few minutes/hours.

X-RAY anti-cheat & Punkbuster was bugged a lot (black screenshots, fps drops, a lot of innocent bans, exposed inside out & lag).
