ET+Ubuntu+keyboard input

Why cant I press '2' or '4' while holding down shift in ET? Works fine everywhere else. Had this with Arch too. :~( There are no keyboard shortcut bindings in Gnome for these keys.

muutenki enemmän ohjelmia, asiat on helpompia , voi purkaa helposti tiedostoja ja kaikkea niinkuin Windowsilla , ja pelaaminen on helpompaa... bugeja korjattu(jos on)

i dont think it has anything to do with connectors since i can press shift+2 outside ET

When your in direct 3D mode, the system behaves diffrently. I know for sure this is the solution, its up to you to listen, or not.

I have the same problem, when I press 'STRG + 3' the menu opens. I use Ubuntu 10.4 (Gnome) - no binds too!

Check the output from the xev. If the keys are not recognized correctly in there, then it may be some old vt100-compatibility stuff, but I doubt that.

Forgot all about it. I'm kind of busy right now, it was something about the keys not working due to the variation in the matrix on that board. Do you have another keyboard you can plug in? Does the same thing occur?

ah kinda ridiculous question but have u selected right keyboard layout? cud b that :/
becoz of wrong keyboard layout, my numpad wasnt working :|
