French people..

http://www.nu.nl/internet/2362037/frankrijk-wil-three-strikes-out-europees-niveau.html

Long story short:

In France they have a three strike out law where if people download copyrighted material without being authrorised to do so they get punished by being banned from internet for a certain period of time. the third strike is a complete ban from the internet.

Now Sarkozy has send a letter where he states he wants to implement this in european law. :/

What the fuck is wrong with french people? They go mass out on the streets if the pension age goes from 60 to 62, while in the netherlands nearly everyone has accepted pension is going from 65 to 67. However, when a law is made where a image: funniest-red-card-o Seriously :|

I'd rather the 3 strike system than getting instafines :PP
Then again, if I ever got 'banned' I'd just leech off a neighbours connection.
While you're at it, just download the copyrighted material from your neighbours connection so only he gets banned :D
Parent
300kb/s vs 1.7mb/s, I'd rather take the risk :D

I do that all the time :P
YAY for wireless internet :DDDDD

Seriously :|

You're wrong.
With this shit law, french gonna work until 67 yo 'cause most of young people start working at 27yo and they need to contribute 41yo to get a decent pension.

It's not because nl are fucking retard about this question that we have to do the same.

France = special story, we don't need to copy others countries, it won't work anyway.
Quotemost of young people start working at 27yo
:D?????

People here start working from 18, and in the meantime they do their course @ university (which takes 3-4 years) = 22/23 they could be doctors/lawyers already, and retirement age is 65
Parent
dude, the fucking old people get job since like 20 years, why the fuck you want that the big boss kick them since thay are good for now 20 years, and take a young guy instead ...

This is how it works in france. We got too many old people that young people can't find job.
Parent
Studies take 5 years (3+2 with this bologne division, except law, medicine and some other) and next 3 years becoming a doctor. If you start at 19, you can be doctor at age of 27/28. With lawyers and medicine doctors it's even later.
Parent
You can be doctor in 3 years in some countries (in euro). But let's face it, are they ready ? No.
Parent
i agree, its too early.
Parent
France = special story idd, as long as you are leeching of european funds where we dutch pay 2 billion per year for maybe your shitty government will last for another couple of weeks. Besides that, the only country that comes close to your pension age is greece, and we all know what happened there.

Also, start working at 27? WTF. In the netherlands we work alongside our study and before that we work alongside middle school. I started working at 17 and that's considered above average in the netherlands.

get a job you lazy piece of shit.
Parent
The minimum pension age in France is 60 or 62. Only the ones who worked their whole lives (40 years or more) can retire early, which is a small minority. The normal pension age is 65 too and will rise to 67, just like in most european countries.
Parent
considering if you start working at 27 you are right, and the age will be 67. So if you consider that normal then the pension age would be like in every other.

For every other normal human who do more then whiping their arse and complaining at the government in the first 26 years of their life the pension age is still fucking low. Are you too retarded to understand this or just too narrowminded?
Parent
What's so difficult to understand about it? If you start working at 27 you can't retire before the age of 65, now after accepting the law it will be 67 so basically those persons will have worked 40 years (at least). People who start working at 18 or 21 can retire earlier. Your pension is based on the number of years you've worked anyway so what are you complaining about? If you have worked only 35 years you'll get less pension, it's simple really.

And do you really think the average person starts working in france at the age of 27?? Are you really that naïve? You really believe that or what?? The age when they start working is not different in France then in most other european countries. What he meant was that because the pension age increases, young people will have more difficulties finding a job because the eldery are still working. That's probably why he said people will start working at a later age. Not that he's correct...

And why the fuck you start accusing me of being retarded or narrowminded? I only explained the situation about the pension age (and corrected you) in France because I saw several comments from you whining the French are lazy and retire at 60/62. That's why I replied to you.
Parent
am i? read the reply the guy wrote. It's the same bullshit he wrote before, without taking anything i said into account.
Parent
well i meant that he has a point in my opinion and not responding to it was bad. sorry for "idiot" though :(
Parent
No, your correct. He's a total moron who can't read more then 3 sentences after each other.
Parent
i'v no idea what ur study is about, but here, in any decent engieneering school, you CANT work meanwhile,u'v just to much work to provide to succeed
Parent
i study IT management at the university of alkmaar. Even though it's counted as a fulltime (fullweek) study i only get 3 days of school where i get 16 hours of college during the week, including 6 hours for work on projects. I can easily work 32-40 hours in the week.

My girlfriend studies ElectroTechnics and has 32 hours of workcolleges. Even she still manages to get 32 hours a week. (friday + saturday + 2 evenings after school.)
Parent
well, for me,its full time 8h->17h30, i could work some evening and saturday but that wouldnt change that much my pension... :(
Parent
unlucky :(

That's why we never heard about nl discovery or other =D

Parent
hautes sphère ouai si on veut (j'aime pas trop ca). Mais en attendant, même si c'est que la haute sphère, c'est quand même français, et on l'a fait. Alors qu'eux, niette :D
Parent
Oh wow, why do you even want to have a discussion when you can't be bothered to read more then 3 sentences after each other you piece of shit. Can't your low IQ handle that?? And it's barely longer then the comment I replied on from you, moron.

You know you lost the argument and now you use an excuse to avoid further embarassing yourself.

Sjeezes, what an idiot you are.
Parent
then learn faster morons :>

e: perhaps you should see the definition of the photograph.
Parent
Nothing will work for your country im sorry.
Parent
they mad
It isn't a full pension at the age of 62, just the minimun age to retire.

And on a side-note, I so love that they actually do something against the government, not like here in Finland Finland where congressmen gave themselves a 8% raise, we made a facebook-group against it, that's all.
france blows, whiny people who cant take a little change. nuke it
like dutches were different :)
Parent
yep, we dont do strikes or whatever when the pension is raised, ofcourse we didnt like it. but we didnt do anything about it, we dont strike. we are easy going people who accept it.
Parent
you are too dumb to understand it anway <3
Parent
you do not have the balls to do it =)

Poor u
Parent
Then the Dutch people are being sheeps who accept changes without doing anything and you seem to brag about it, shows how stupid you are
Parent
oh ye, accepting everything has become the new trend in europe, how cool
you are doing it wrong by mixing peoples opinion and politics, the age issue the people bring up is good.
QuoteIn France they have a three strike out law where if people download copyrighted material without being authrorised to do so they get punished by being banned from internet for a certain period of time. the third strike is a complete ban from the internet.

could some frenchman point me to the legal act stating this? http://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/
it's not the legal act but should give you some info

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadopi
Parent
it can't be a law without being passed by a competent body as a legal act. In France it is one of Assemblee Nationale, Senat, President de la Republique
Parent
Anyway thanks for the link. Thanks to it I managed to find the act - http://legifrance.gouv.fr/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000020735432

I say this is very wrong...
Parent
i agree, it's already annoying for the french to have such a law. But according to a leaked letter from sarkozy he is lobbying to have it imported in european law :|
Parent
but hold on. If I understood correctly, this has been cancelled.

From your wiki link:
"On 22 October 2009, the Constitutional Council of France approved a revised version of HADOPI, requiring judicial review before revoking a person's internet access, but otherwise resembling the original requirements".
Parent
i don't know the exact status of the law, however, i did read articles saying the first warnings have been send under the three strike system. Therefor, i think the revised version is currently in affect.
Parent
But if French juries said that citizen can only be denied Internet access with judical sentence, France itself wont accept the law coming from EU that states otherwise. I'm sure juries in other countries will say the same. So, if there is any law enforced by EU on all the EU countries, it wont allow government to cut our Internet without jury sentence. That's just fine to me :).
Parent
However, according to the dutch article (in journal body) this still isn't fixed.

And even if it has been fixed: Articles have stated that there might be over 1000 bans per week. This means that judges either won't be able to handle it or they won't handle it properly and just convict without giving each case the attention it needs.
Parent
i think they should simplify a procedure for juries in these cases or even create a special jury for handling these cases. doesn't mean it will help much, though.
Parent
that just show that when mad guy post on CF about france, they don't understand anything :D
Parent
thats why i ask you to tell me.
Parent
No you didn't ask me

<trolledhard.jpeg>
Parent
Quotethats why i ask you to tell me.

I just did that.
Cmon, explain to me how it is in France with this law.
Parent
too long to explain, sry but it's true ..

I would say tl;dw
(too long; didn't write)
Parent
btw retirement's law is about to increase from 65 to 67. Noone stop working at 60, unless u started at 16.
