IRC VIRUS HELP!!

look , i know it was not smart to click the fucking link .
First i could still play ET but after a couple hours my internet didn't work anymore.
I rebooted my computer.But when i type in my password as a user , I immediatly
got logged out.so i can't do anything!!!

pls can someone help me cause i don't want to reformat (to many important files)

Boot up in safe mode, make a virusscan? Systemrestore?

press f8 while ur pc is booting, just press it a few times.

look when i press f8 i get indeed a boot menu but i only see this
boot menu

select a first boot device
->removable
->hard disk
->cd-rom
->legacy lan



this isn't normal is it? o_0
can someone help me?i'll pay you...

That's cos ur m-board has a fast boot-selection, and the manufacturers has set it on f8 (asus by any chance ?)... wait a little longer (next screen), THEN press f8.

hope it gave sense...

thx it works but the only problem is

EVEN IN SAFE MODE I GOT LOGGED OUT IMMIDIATLY

ANY OTHER OPTIONS??????

pres f8 few time at reboot, pick safe mode and then scan your comp. :) gl

try switching to safe mode + do a virus scan
